Two players have been named “Season 12 ITHL Cover Athletes”!
BHunter22 from the Twine Ticklerz is the S12 Current Gen Cover Athlete and Stricky_247 from the Blue Dragons is the S12 Old Gen Cover Athlete!
BHUNTER22
BHunter is the owner and GM of the Twine Ticklerz who joined the ITHL back in Season 5. Hunter quickly became one of the most prominent goal scorers in the league putting up 71 goals along with 61 assists in 42 games in his first season which was good enough to be #4 overall in points.
He then led his stellar rookie season up with another fantastic campaign as he scored 62 goals and 40 assists in 41 games.
The Twine Ticklerz instantly became Cup contenders in large part due to BHunter’s offensive prowess.
Twine would take a couple seasons off from S7 to S9 but Hunter would continue to play in the league.
In his first season not with Twine, BHunter won the Core Division Championship with Clash HC and would now be in the history books forever.
He would then go on to play for a couple of other teams but would eventually bring back the Ticklerz in S10. Twine is still looking for their first Cup and BHunter hopes to show his teammates what it’s like to be a ITHL Champion.
Off the ice, BHunter is one of the most reliable and dedicated GMs out there. He truly cares about the ITHL and wants to see it grow and succeed. The league needs more BHunters!
STRICKY_247
Stricky is one of the true ITHL OGs, joining back in Season 1 as a member of the Blue Dragons.
The Blue Dragons would fight for the Playoffs most seasons and the core group of IRL friends would work to continue to get better at the game as they were in a league environment for the first time.
Bouncing around at different positions, Stricky finally started to get noticed for his play in net and would go on to become a bonified number 1 goalie.
His play really boosted the Dragons confidence and play as a team and it seemed as though the knowingness of having a solid goalie allowed the Dragons to start learning how to win.
Stricky would eventually try to manage his own team in S5 but it quickly fell apart as the team didn’t make it past Week 1.
Given a second shot, Stricky would bring Sunnyvale into the league in S10. With a core group of long time ITHLers Sunnyvale would win the Sweat Division Championship.
He now plays for both the Blue Dragons (PS4) and Sunnyvale (PS5) and is looking to help bring a Cup to the Dragons for the first time in their team’s history.
His play has really improved as of late as he posted a league leading 4 shutouts in S10 and a solid .816 SV% in S11. He now has a .883 SV% in just 4GP in S12.
Just like BHunter, Stricky is a dedicated and passionate GM and truly cares about the ITHL.
