SEASON 12 WEEK 3 POWER RANKINGS

CURRENT GEN POWER RANKINGS

1. Get North 4-0 (11-1) – Last Week’s Rank: 5

After a slow start by their standards in their first set of games, Get North has put together two perfect weeks back-to-back to take over the top spot in the power rankings. Insomnia, who previously held the top spot for the first two weeks, took two losses from Get North and the SeaDawgs were also swept.
VxD- is leading the team in points with 20, followed closely by Vozzy411 with 19.

2. Storm 3-1 (10-1-1) – Last Week’s Rank: 2

Storm finally lost their first game in regulation this week but they keep on chugging along against these top teams. They were able to grab the first game against Trap to split the series and they were able to sweep a very strong Sunnyvale squad. This power rankings writer loves to watch Dusty play for the storm who also leads the team with 34 points, while Megga and Jackdawgs are rocks in the crease this
season.

3. Trap House 2-2 (9-3) – Last Week’s Rank: 6

Trap had the second toughest schedule this week when they took on Storm and SeaDawgs managing to split the week. Handing the Storm their first regulation loss was a major accomplishment, and they followed the EA bounces to defeat the SeaDawgs in overtime for one win. Impulse continues to prove that he is a stud in net and at forward, as he leads the team with 29 points. Mxrshmalo finally showed up last week with six points in the series with the ‘Dawgs.

4. Dynamic HC 4-0 (10-2) – Last Week’s Rank: 8

Dynamic is a team that could argue that they deserve to be higher on the list after two perfect weeks in a row, but their strength of schedule was slightly lower than Trap’s. A very tough week to rank nonetheless, but Dynamic keeps on winning the games put in front of them after beating the Vipers and Long Island Crimson this week. Two-_-Jamezz leads the way with 33 points while team owner xKobeskrt has racked up 22 points in only 5(!!) games.

5. Insomnia 1-3 (8-4) – Last Week’s Rank: 1

Insomnia had the toughest schedule of the week facing Get North and Sunnyvale, who were two top five teams in the ITHL. Scordove and his crew lost both to Get North and were able to split with Sunnyvale. A small speed bump for this squad as they will get back to their winning ways this week. Vdh-93 leads Insomnia with 17 points, while pizza delivery driver himself xVulpix- has been solid on defense.

6. Sunnyvale 1-2-1 (8-3-1) – Last Week’s Rank: 4

The streak of the tough to rank teams continue as Sunnyvale had a tough week record wise, but their level of competition was tough as well. Sunnyvale spilt with Insomnia and lost two to the high flying Storm. ITHL legend J77CTL9 leads the team on the defensive side of the puck with 21 points while playing great defense and MxttyIce97 has the team lead with 34 points.

7. JOFA 4-0 (9-2-1) – Last Week’s Rank: 10

JOFA completed another perfect week for a top 10 team defeating the Blueline Snipers and Army Black Knights. JOFA would be higher with a tougher week but they are being put right into the fire this week with Dynamic and the Storm on their schedule. Savvy16 has the team lead with 32 points and Loochador- has been solid between the pipes to start the year.

8. SeaDawgs 1-2-1 (8-3-1) – Last Week’s Rank: 3

A tough week from the SeaDawgs as they took their first sweep loss to Get North and managed to grab
three of four points from Trap House. No easy task this week with Sunnyvale and Toxic Legends on their
schedule who are no slouches themselves. xWillis- leads the team with 34 points followed by Shieldzyyy
with 25 points.

9. Simplified 4-0 (8-2-2) – Last Week’s Rank: NR

After a rocky week 2, Simplified is back in the top 10 after a perfect week. Simplified beat a tough Mutts team and a good Henchmen HC squad to bring themselves back near the top of the ITHL standings and the power rankings. Trap House and Insomnia are ahead of Gute and his boys so staying in the top 10
will be a tall task. Speaking of Gute, he has be stellar in net for Simplified while Bernardo_jij leads the
team in points with 21.

10. Toxic Legends 3-0-1 (7-4-1) – Last week rank: NR

The legends are back near the top in the ITHL, finally! The Season 7 Sweat Division champions got off to a slow start but have put together some solid weeks to crack the top 10 in this week’s power rankings. PremierPlayer has his boys turning the corner to take a run at another title in hopes to adding to his ITHL legacy. xPhiist joins PP atop of the Legends point list with 32 each with JHochman leading the defensive unit.

teams to watch

Vipers – Dropped out of the top 10 after splitting their week, look for them to have a strong bounce back week.

Army Black Knights – Another team that split their games in week 3, but a team that has slipped under the radar this season.

Nation of Misfits – A roller coaster of a week for the Misfits but they should not be slept on.

old gen power rankings

1. Les Senateurs de Toronto 3-1 (10-2) – Last Week’s Rank: 1

In a potential finals preview, Les Senateurs won both games against the Destroyers last week while they split with the Pirates in another great series. Although the Pirates did take three of four points, Les Senateurs still top the rankings for another week.

2. Down East Pirates 3-0-1 (9-1-2) – Last Week’s Rank: 3

A very close second place, the Pirates are showing why they should not be slept on. A hard fought loss to Les Senateurs in double overtime, the Pirates went on to beat the Academie in both their matchups. Will be interesting to see if they can take the top spot in next week’s rankings!

3. CC Destroyers 1-3 (9-3) – Last week rank: 2

A tough week for the Destroyers as they dropped their first games of the season. The top seed Les Senateurs swept CC and they split with Problem Child in their other matchup. Every team has struggles and the Destroyers will get back to their winning ways this week.

4. St. Lafleur Academie 2-1-1 (8-3-1) – Last Week’s Rank: 4

The Academie continue to battle these top teams close as they manged to grab a point against the Pirates and sweep the Serpents. The Academie are one of the elite teams on the Old Gen side of the league who have the potential of winning the whole thing.

5. Sweden Serpents 1-2-1 (7-4-1) – Last Week’s Rank: NR

A team that only lacks consistency, the Serpents grab the last spot after much back and forth. A team that can seemingly beat anyone but also lose to anyone, the Serpents need everything to go right for them if they want to find themselves at the top of these rankings.

teams to watch

Doodle Inc – Doodle could have been in the top 5, but a lower strength of schedule has them on the outside looking in.

Iconic – A team with the potential to be a constant in the top 5, Iconic follows the Serpents with a small consistency issue.

Problm Child – A team that did beat the Destroyers this week before being swept by the Blue Dragons, Problm Child needs to stick on playing the game rather than chirping their opponents.
