Fresh blood in season 3 of the ITHL, Skubhub entered as the Rockford Reign. One of the younger teams in the league they had a roller coaster of a season ending too early for their liking- in the semis at the hands of In Cider. Even though they were the 5th seed, they were still viewed as a surprise team to make the semis. “Slept on” is a word frequently used to describe their first season in the ITHL. Retooling and plugging holes as necessary, GM BHardin has been dubbed “GM of the year” by Commissioner Mooner. Now armed with valuable playoff experience and the key additions of Rick the Waffle Stompper and Red Devil in free agency and midseason reinforcements Ricky Sxx and Come Bubbles, Skubhub is “Ring or bust” this season. Also helping their case is the return of the league’s stingiest Defensive pairing, M Smith and He Hate Me, who look to bolster the back end of a club with perennial contender aspirations.

Finishing this season 16-5 was less than ideal for their short term aspirations but they are plenty happy making it to the playoffs. When asked who has been a standout for the team this season, Alternate Captain and defensive keystone M Smith did not hold back any love for his teammates saying, “We’ve gotten top notch goaltending namely from Red Devil, but everyone has played a role given the amount of turnover there’s been at forward (and goalie at times) from week to week. The commitment to team defense keeps us in almost every game which is a mindset I accredit to having the same d-pair for so long. Phil (Patrick Kane) is always good for a few goals, so that certainly helps.”
