The Season 9 Cover Athlete is reigning Lockhart Award Winner, goaltender, jasonx1755 from Dub Club!
Jason entered the League with his current team, Dub Club back in Season 7. The team would end up finishing the season with a .500 record and lost in the Playoffs but Jason put up solid numbers in his rookie season.
Looking to build on a solid start, Dub Club returned for S8 and would quickly show the league that they would be contenders for the Cup. The chemistry between their skaters along with a very reliable goaltender helped the Club to a second place finish in the regular season.
Dub Club would unfortunately fall short in the Playoffs, but their star goaltender was voted the ‘Best Goalie’ by the Admins, making him the S8 Lockhart Award Winner.
His .823 SV% was good enough to be ranked #1 in the entire League He also finished #1 in shutouts with 3.
Rounding out his impressive S8, he finished #5 in GAA and #4 in saves.
Let’s just say it was hard to give the Lockhart to anyone else..
Now in Season 9, Jason has played all 24 games in net for Dub Club. The team’s schedule has been tough but they have remained near the top of the standings all season.
As the Playoffs approach, he will have to continue to be solid in net if they want to make a deep Playoff run.
