SEASON 12 WEEK 4 POWER RANKINGS

current gen power rankings

1. Dynamic HC 4-0 (14-2) – Last Week’s Rank: 4

An undefeated week for Dynamic who had a very tough schedule against Jofa and Sunnyvale. Not much was known about the squad built by Kobe but they have continued to prove time and time again that they are a serious threat for the championship. Their toughest week is ahead as they play the Storm, who seem to take their game to another level against top teams, and the Sea Dawgs.

2. Storm 3-1 (13-2-1) – Last Week’s Rank: 2

After starting off the week with a loss to Jofa, the Storm won their next three games including a sweep against previous number one Get North. The two top teams are battling it out this week when Storm play Dynamic and their second matchup is against Acknowledge Me. It seems impossible for the Storm to not grab three wins every week so we will see how this week treats them.

3. Trap House 3-0-1 (12-3-1) – Last Week’s Rank: 3

Trap had an amazing series against Get North managing to sweep them and make them quit the last game of the series. Unfortunately for Trap they could not complete the undefeated week as they lost a game to Simplified in overtime. With Acknowledge Me and Jofa on tap this week, Trap will need fourth string forward Michigan Malo to continue to not let the team down.

4. Sea Dawgs 3-1 (11-4-1) – Last Week’s Rank: 8

A strong week for the Dawgs capped by a late game regulation win against the Toxic Legends gave them
a great 3-1 week. Sweeping a very strong Sunnyvale lineup was a catalyst for the Dawgs as it gave them
some much needed confidence after a very sub-par week three performance. The top team in Dynamic
waits for the Dawgs along with a hungry Insomnia squad will make this week a tough one for Willis and
the boys.

5. Acknowledge Me 4-0 (11-4-1) – Last Week’s Rank: NR

A return to the top ten for Acknowledge Me as they managed to perform to an undefeated week after a rough previous week. A weaker strength of schedule helped Acknowledge Me get back to this spot but they can only beat who is placed in front of them and they did just that. Tougher opponents this week for Acknowledge Me as they get Trap House and Storm, lets see if they can continue their hot streak.

6. Insomnia 3-1 (11-5) – Last Week’s Rank: 5

After a tough week three for Dovscore and the Insomnia squad as they rebounded this week with a great showing. After getting a wakeup call in week three, presumably because Insomnia believed they would run all over the league, Insomnia needed all hands on deck to sweep the Vipers and split with Simplified. The matchup to watch this week and may be feature on Hockey Night is Insomnia against the Sea Dawgs.

7. Get North 0-4 (11-5) – Last week rank: 1

A tough week for the previous number one as they could not manage to finish all their games as well as not win one either. Still made up of very talented players, one has to wonder if this team will finish the season if other teams play a playstyle that bothers them. Looking ahead to their week four matchups with Toxic Legends and Simplified, you just hope they finish their games no matter what. Losing happens.

8. Jofa 1-2-1 (10-4-2) – Last Week’s Rank: 7

A tough team to rank this week as they had possibly the toughest schedule out of the top ten teams and they performed well, just did not get the results or bounces needed. Jofa definitely has the talent to be a player in this championship race but they will need a little more luck on their side in order to make things happen as the season continues.

9. Toxic Legends 3-1 (10-5-1) – Last Week’s Rank: 10

The Legends have been on a nice run the last few weeks as they continue to slowly climb the rankings after having a slow start. The former champs want the league to know that they are still here and still want their name in the fight for the Elite championship. Their chemistry is unmatched as these guys have played together for years.

10. Simplified 2-2 (10-4-2) – Last Week’s Rank : 9

A tough week on the schedule for Simplified as they took on Insomnia and Trap House in two very close series. Splitting both series is a great accomplishment for Simplified as they look to move up the standings this week as they face Get North and Army Black Knights.

teams to watch

Lake Erie Renegades – Good group of guys, looking to punch their ticket into the top ten.

Sunnyvale – Tough winless week for Sunnyvale against some very tough teams. Cannot sleep on this team as they will make another top ten appearance.

Blue Line Snipers – The doormats continue to hang around the top ten, would be a great story if they push through.

old gen power rankings

1. St. Lafleur Academie 4-0 (12-3-1) – Last Week’s Rank: 4

A new number one on the Old Gen side of the ITHL as the Academie have overtaken the spot from Les Senateurs as of now. These guys have a chance now to remain at the top for the remainder of the season as they will get through the toughest part of their schedule.

2. Les Senateurs de Toronto 2-2 (12-4) – Last Week’s Rank: 1

The second ranking is still very strong after a tougher week but against good competition as Doodle played some top guys this week. Toronto is still ranked ahead of them based off of how Doodle was off the list in the previous week and that I would like to see top line versus top line next time they meet up

3. Doodle Inc 4-0 (12-4) – Last Week’s Rank: NR

Finally seeing some success on one of their teams, Doodle makes an appearance on the list this week after hovering around last week. Having a perfect week, coupled with sweeping Les Senateurs, Doodle could arguably be higher on this list but we need more consistency from these guys.

4. CC Destoryers 2-1-1 (11-4-1) – Last Week’s Rank: 3

The Destroyers continue to roll along with another strong week as they did drop two to the top seed but did manage to grab a point in one of the games. You can seemingly chalk up multiple wins every week with these guys and going forward, it should be much of the same.

5. Down East Pirates 1-2-1 (10-3-3) – Last Week’s Rank: 2

Tough week for the Pirates as they only grabbed three points but they have been so consistent all year that this week they will bounce back. These guys run the best social media in the ITHL and seem to have a great time doing so. Iconic gave them a push for this last spot but the Pirates have had a stronger season.

teams to watch

Keelers HC – New team to the ITHL who have been slowly climbing the rankings every week.

Blue Dragons – An OG squad who deserves all the love and should not be slept on down the stretch.

Hillside Empire – A team that struggled off the bat but has slowly been improving each time out. Looking to see them clean up their goal differential.
